Horror Coloring

You can’t walk in to a bookstore without seeing tons of coloring books for adults. It’s huge in the library world too, the adult coloring programs are insanely well attended. As horror fans, we may not find those squiggly shapes as the perfect meditation method, we need something a bit more interesting right? Well, never fear as there are horror coloring books. The best ones I’ve found are from the U.K. but you can get them online. My favorite isĀ Colour Me Good ARRGGGHHHH, which has pictures based on some horror movie masterpieces, Hellraiser, The Shining, Psycho, and Nightmare on Elm Street to name a few. Tesco, a U.K. supermarket chain, got in hot water for stocking this title when kids starting picking it up and buying it. Apparently parents frown on having their kids coloring Carrie drenched in blood.

ColourCopy a page on to some cardstock to keep the actual book uncolored and you can create masterpieces over and over again. Wait, is this Pinterest? Check out some of the pages:

Here are some other interesting titles worth checking out, featuring more of the classic icons and themes of horror.
